First Canna-Cig Rolls Out in Colorado

A tin of Cranfords Cannabis Cigarettes sells for $50-$60 in dispensaries and rec-pot shops in Colorado.

A 10-pack of Cranfords Cannabis Cigarettes is now available at 16 shops in Colorado, mostly in Denver, just two months after launching.

Cranfords is named for Bud Cranford, who owned liquor stores in Colorado in the '50s; his son Jason, Brandon Webby and Chris Connors Sr. are partners in the company. The rolling takes place in Boulder using two professional machines. Jason Cranford also owns the Rifle Mountain Dispensary in Rifle.

Cranfords are filled with an OG mix grown by Jason Cranford and Brandon Webby and rolled in Rifle, Colorado.

The cigs are a mix of different OGs. They come in tins of 10 and wholesale for $30 a tin and retail for $50-$60. There's a quarter ounce in each tin.

"It’s all marijuana, about 100 milligrams of THC in each cigarette," Chris Connors Jr. tells The Cannabist. "We’re branding ourselves as America’s first cannabis cigarette."
