Colorado Pot Shop Owner Disses Charlo Greene

Ryan Fox, CEO and president of Denver recreational marijuana store Kindman, calls Charlo Greene's on-air stunt “disgraceful." When Greene quit her job at KTVA in Anchorage Sunday night she used a common expletive ("fuck it").

"Cursing, throwing your hands in the air, walking away from a career, walking away from a job and causing your employer disruption - all those things she's going to regret doing that at some point in the course of her having a cannabis business,” Fox contends.

Greene posted at Facebook:

'I apologize if you were offended with my profanity, but I'm not going to apologize for the choices I've made. It's time to end prohibition on a global scale.'

Fox goes on: "If she and her supporters are trying to publicize the cause of marijuana legalization with voters in Alaska, they certainly need to speak about it and they certainly need to get the information out. But Washington and Colorado accomplished this two years ago without anyone behaving like that."

In addition, Fox described Greene as "self-indulgent and glory-seeking to meet her personal agenda.” Kindman Premium Cannabis is located at 4125 Elati St. in Denver.

Greene owns the Alaska Cannabis Club and is a major supporter of Measure 2, the ballot initiative that would legalize marijuana in Alaska if passed in November. She's also being charged with covering the upcoming election with a bias; Greene stands to benefit financially if the proposed law is passed.

Do you think Fox is out of line or right on target?
