Texas Woman Connected to Oklahoma Marijuana Industry Arrested for Rioting in DC

Jenny Cudd speaks to KOSA/Channel7, Midland, Texas. Her hat reads: Women for Trump 2020.

Texas resident Jenny Cudd was arrested by FBI on January 13 for rioting at the Capitol in Washington, DC on January 6. Charged with a misdemeanor, she was released on bond.

Cudd is associated with Summit Boys, a California company that makes cannabis concentrates and has expanded to Marietta, Oklahoma. She says she's raised $1.25 million for two other Oklahoma start-ups. Medical-marijuana is legal in the Sooner State.

About her visit to Washington, DC, Cudd commented prior to the arrest:

“Do I think that it was wrong for us to go to the Capitol? Absolutely not. Do I think that it was wrong for me to go through an open door and get inside of the Capitol? No I don’t. I didn’t break any laws, I didn’t do anything unlawful, and I think that’s probably why the FBI and the law enforcement have not contacted me."

On her Facebook page, which has since been deleted, Cudd bragged about breaking Rep. Nancy Pelosi's office door

Cuddy narrated Summit Boys' investor pitch video below last July. She explained:

"Two years ago I didn't know anything about cannabis. The national market is massive. It's the next gold rush. It's the fastest industry going right now. Medical and recreational states are actually lowering the illicit drug usage. The legal industry is certainly helping to combat the illegal industry. Oklahoma has the most encompassing and open laws for cannabis out of any state in the nation. In the cannabis industry Oklahoma is considered the Wild West... There are always more opportunities in the cannabis industry. There's tons of money to be made."

Cudd owns Becky's Flowers in Midland, Texas, where she ran for mayor and lost in 2019. She protested mask mandates and business closures in 2020.
