Cancer patient Benton Mackenzie passed away today. He, his wife and son were all found guilty in an Iowa court on marijuana charges in July and sentenced to probation in September. He was not allowed to mount a medical-marijuana defense.
A potential marijuana bust turned into near riot in Delray Beach, Florida on Dec. 28. Police smelled weed and chased a man to a house where a large crowd formed a shield to protect him. They used pepper spray and arrested four people.
