Electric Zoo Canceled After Drug Deaths

Two concertgoers died at the Electric Zoo festival in New York allegedly of Ecstasy overdoses on Friday and Saturday. Police shut down the last day of the event on Sunday.

Jeffrey Russ and Olivia Rotondo reportedly both collapsed at the concert on Randall's Island. They were taken to hospitals and didn't revive.

Also there was a report of a sexual assault, four other drug-related hospitalizations and 31 arrests made for drug possession.

The fest featured performances by Avicci, John Digweed, David Guetta, Tiesto, Hardwell, Flux Pavillion and Bassnectar.

The Electic Zoo site made this announcement regarding tickets: "Full refunds for Sunday passes to Electric Zoo 2013 will be issued automatically.
