2021 Cannabis-Industry Events Guide

After a complete wipeout in 2020 due to Covid-19, cannabis-industry conferences and festivals have been making a comeback in 2021.  

When the first in-person events began happening in March and as more Americans were vaccinated, a plethora of events were and continue to be announced. The events listed below are subject to change. 

Below is a list of scheduled events and events that have already occurred in 2021.

2021 Events  

The Stone Age - New York 10/1-12/31

According to the website, this immersive event is a "multi-faceted, sensorial journey... exploring the unique connections between plant medicine, creativity, awareness, arousal and more." Read our review here.

 

Hall of Flowers - Palm Springs, CA 12/8-9

After taking place in San Francisco and Santa Rosa, this California event expanded to Palm Springs for 2020, but that event was canceled. The Santa Rosa event was rescheduled for September (vaccinations were not required) and Palm Springs for December.

 

Emerald Cup Harvest Ball - Santa Rosa, CA 12/11-12

The popular Northern California judging contest is heading South to Los Angeles in 2022. This past April, awards were handed out by B-RealZiggy MarleyMelissa Etheridge, Michael Franti, Abdullah Saeed and many more. Check out the winners here. Their first-ever Harvest Ball will take place at Sonaoma Country Fairgrounds. The musical line-up includes Big Wild, Trevor Hall, Dumpstaphunk abnd HIRIE.

 

NCIA Cannabis Businesss Events - San Francisco 12/15-17

The NCIA's Midwest Cannabis Business Conference at the TCF Center in Detroit in September featured keynotes by former Lions Calvin Johnson Jr. and Rob Sims. Vaccinations were not required. Their flagship event, the Cannabis Business Summit & Expo, takes place at Moscone Convention Center in San Francisco in December.  

 

High Times Cannabis Cup - Nevada 12/19

High Times' live Cup event returned in Arizona in August, Oklahoma in September in Massachusetts in October. Their next Cup is in Nevada. The newest wrinkle is People's Choice awards where consumers purchase judge's kits or competing products at participarting stores.
