Weedmaps is teaming up with The Freak Brothers animated series on Tubi. To promote Weedmaps' involvement, eight "Smoke & Screen" events will take place from Sept. 13-21.

The strategic partnership, announced in August, "will consist of in-episode Weedmaps integrations in the second half of The Freak Brothers Season 2, beginning September 24, as well as exclusive 'Smoke & Screen' events throughout the U.S., which will bring together industry influencers and tastemakers at the intersection of cannabis and entertainment."

The first four episodes of Season 2 began streaming in June. Season 1 (also eight eps) premiered in 2021.

Based on The Fabulous Furry Freak Brothers comic strips and characters created by Gilbert Shelton, Paul Mavrides and Dave Sheridan in the early '70s, The Freak Brothers transports the goofy trio, plus Kitty, to the 21st Centrury. The series is voiced by Woody Harrelson (Freewheelin' Franklin Freak), Pete Davidson (Phineas T. Phreakers), John Goodman (Fat Freddie Freekowski), Tiffany Haddish (Kitty), Andrea Savage, La La Anthony, Adam Devine, Blake Anderson and ScHoolboy Q.
