Bent Fabric (nee Fabricius-Bjerre) - July 28; Danish pianist wrote "Alley Cat," which was the Grammys' Best Rock & Rock Recording in 1962 (watch below); suffered from cancer; was 95.

Len Fagan - May 3; Los Angeles-based rock drummer played with Love, 1910 Fruitgum Company and Stepson before opening Coconut Teaszer, a club on Sunset Blvd.; suffered from Covid-19; was 72.

Steve Farmer - Apr. 7; guitarist and songwriter with the Amboy Dukes; wrote the lyrics to their hit single, "Journey to the Center of the Mind" (No, 16, 1968); cause undisclosed; was 71.

Majek Fashek - June 1; Nigerian singer/guitarist was known as the African nation's Bob Marley; suffered from esophageal cancer; was 57.

Fred the Godson (nee Frederick Thomas) - April 23; Bronx rapper released several mixtapes and worked with Wu-Tang Clan's Raekwon; suffered from Covis-19 and other conditions; was 35.

FBG Duck (nee Carlton Weekly) - Sept. 15; Chicago rapper gunned down in gang violence; was 26.

Riley Gale - Aug. 24; founder and frontman of Dallas thrash metal band Power Trip who released albums in 2013 and 2017; cause undisclosed; was 34; watch them perform "Executioner's Tax (Swing the Axe)" below.

Genesis P-Orridge (nee Neil Megson) - Mar. 14; British industrial rocker fronted Throbbing Gristle and Psychic TV; suffered from leukemia; was 70.

• Andy Gill - Feb. 1; co-founder and guitarist in British post-punk band Gang of Four; suffered from a respiratory ailment and pneumonia; was 64.

Henry Gray - Feb. 17; the Louisiana-born pianist developed a barrelhouse Chicago blues style playing with Howlin' Wolf and recording with Chess artists like Muddy Waters in the '50s and '60s, then toured and recorded with his own band Henry Gray & the Cats; was 95.
