Distinctions: Inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2014, Charlie Daniels had hits with "The Devil Went Down to Georgia" (No. 3, 1979, watch below), "Uneasy Rider" (No. 9, 1973), "In America" (No. 13, 1980), "Still in Saigon" (No. 22, 1982), "The South's Gonna Do It" (No. 29, 1975), "The Legend of Wooly Swamp" (No. 31, 1980) and "Long Haired Country Boy" (No. 56, 1975, listen below); the latter songs's lyrics go, "I don't want much of nothing at all but I will take another toke"; from 1970-2016 he released 30 albums, won a Grammy for "Devil" and received six total nominations.
