Brooklyn-born rapper (nee Bashar Jackson) was shot and killed at his home in the Hollywood Hills on February 19. He was 20. This track is from Pop Smoke's posthumous album Shoot for the Stars, Aim for the Moon.

Best Rock Album: Daylight

The Vermont-based jam-band singer receives Grammy recognition for her second solo album, post-the Nocturals. Potter has one previous nomination in 2011.

 

John Prine

This is the last song by the beloved singer-songwriter, who received a Lifetime Achievement Grammy Award earlier in the year and had one other win in 2005 and a total of 13 noms. Prine passed from Covid-19 on April 7. He was 73.
