Bill Murray Wins 2015 Emmy Award

Top CelebStoners Amy Poehler, Bill Maher, Anthony Bourdain and Bill Murray were all nominated for 2015 Emmys, but only Murray won (Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Limited Series or Movie category for Olive Kitteridge). It was Murray's first Emmy victory since he was a member of Saturday Night Live's writing team in 1977.

For six consecutive years, Poehler had been nominated as Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series for Parks and Recreation, which ended in February. She was beaten out for the fourth straight year by Julia Louis-Dreyfus (Veep).

Maher's string of 11 straight nominations in the Outstanding Music or Comedy Series category for Real Time ended, but he did receive a nod in the Outstanding Variety Special category for Bil Maher: Live from D.C. Maher, who has yet to win an Emmy, lost again.

Bourdain, who last year won the Outstanding Information Series or Special category for Parts Unknown, was only nominated in the Outstanding Host for a Reality or Reality-Show Competition category for The Taste. He also lost.

The Emmys were handed out on Sept. 20 on Fox. Check out all of the nominees and winners here.
