The Freak Brothers - based on the '70s era comic strip The Fabulous Furry Freak Brothers - is returning for a second season on Tubi, the streaming service announced on May 2.

“We’re excited to bring back our favorite trio of Freaks – and their trippy pet Kitty – for another wild season,” says Tubi Chief Content Officer Adam Lewinson.

The three Freak characters are voiced by Woody Harrleson (Freewheelin' Franklin Freak), Pete Davidson (Phineas T. Phreakers) and John Goodman (Fat Freddie Freekowski). Tiffany Haddish plays the cat. Other cast members include Andrea Savage, La La Anthony, Adam Devine and Blake Anderson.

Season 1 debuted last November and ran for eight episodes. Season 2 will kick off in December.

The Fabulous Furry Freak Brothers comic strips and characters were created by Gilbert Shelton, Paul Mavrides and Dave Sheridan. Many of the strips appeared in High Times and alternative newspapers.

“We’re pleased to continue our ‘trip’ with FOX and Tubi on a hilarious second season of The Freak Brothers,” adds Lionsgate President of Domestic Television Distribution Ryan Lowerre. WTG Enterprises is the producer. Tubi is owned by Fox.
