The Freak Brothers - based on the '70s era comic strip The Fabulous Furry Freak Brothers - is returning for a second season on Tubi starting June 25.

“We’re excited to bring back our favorite trio of Freaks – and their trippy pet Kitty – for another wild season,” says Tubi Chief Content Officer Adam Lewinson.

The eight-episode season will begin with four on June 25 and then add the other four on Sept. 24.

The three Freak characters are voiced by Woody Harrleson (Freewheelin' Franklin Freak), Pete Davidson (Phineas T. Phreakers) and John Goodman (Fat Freddie Freekowski). Tiffany Haddish plays the cat. Other cast members include Andrea Savage, La La Anthony, Adam Devine, Blake Anderson and ScHoolboy Q

Season 1 debuted in November 2021 and ran for eight episodes.

The Fabulous Furry Freak Brothers comic strips and characters were created by Gilbert Shelton, Paul Mavrides and Dave Sheridan in 1968. Many of the strips appeared in High Times and alternative newspapers.

“We’re pleased to continue our ‘trip’ with FOX and Tubi on a hilarious second season of The Freak Brothers,” adds Lionsgate President of Domestic Television Distribution Ryan Lowerre. WTG Enterprises is the producer. Tubi is owned by Fox.
