Softball Stoners Make Playoffs

In the Congressional Softball League playoffs on Aug. 24, DC's One Hitters lost 9-2 to Smell the Glove, 9-2, then defeated BGloves, 15-3, in Alexandria, Virginia. They did not advance to the next roound. The One Hitters, which is comprised of marijuana reform actoivists, made national headlines after beating the White House team earlier in the season.

Meanwhile, in New York, the High Times Bonghitters won the regular season title in the New York Media Softball League. They went 11-1, followed by Wall Street Journal (10-2) in NYMSL action.

Update: In the NYMSL playoffs on Sept. 15, High Times defeated Wall Street Journal, 6-0, but lost to Institutional Investor, 12-6, in the championship match.
