Rollin' Tide: Bama Back Busted for Weed in Little Rock

Alabama running back Altee Tenpenny was nabbd in North Little Rock for two grams of marijuana.

Altee Tenpenny, a sophomore running back at Alabama, was arrested for possessing a dime bag of marijuana during a traffic stop in Arkansas on Mar. 24.

Police pulled over the North Little Rock native for an "inoperational license plate light" on McCain Blvd. He was in town for spring break.

After detecting the smell of marijuana, police found two grams of weed in the car. Tenpenny admitted he'd smoked a blunt earlier in the evening. He was arrested, taken to the police station and released.

As a freshman, Tenpenny mostly played on special teams. The Crimson Tide finished 11-2 last year and were rated the third best team in the country.

Tenpenny is the second Alabama player to be arrested for marijuana in 2014. The other, Dee Hart, has since released from the team.
