Blake Griffin Gives Thumb Up for Medical Marijuana

Blake Griffin doesn’t use medical marijuana, but thinks "so many guys would probably benefit from it."

Asked about his stance on NBA players using marijuana for medicinal purposes, Blake Griffin tells Rolling Stone: "It doesn't really affect me, but so many guys would probably benefit from it and not take as many painkillers, which have worse long-term effects. So I would vote yes. I just think it makes sense."

The four-time All-Star is averaging 24 points (sixth best in the NBA) and 9.5 rebounds per game for the first-place and playoff-bound Clippers. Griffin is best known for his thunderous dunks.
