Robbie Peralta Suspended by UFC
MMA featherweight Robbie Peralta says he "made the dumb choice of smoking" marijuana in March. He failed a drug test in April and has been suspended by the UFC for six months.
Two Jets Cut After Pot Bust
Gridders Cliff Harris and Claude Davis were arrested for marijuana possession on Apr. 29 and promptly released by the New York Jets. Harris was cut by Oregon in 2011 for the same reason.
Matt Riddle Dumped by UFC
Mixed martial arts fighter Matt Riddle was fired by the UFC on Feb. 26 after he tested positive for marijuana for the second time. Riddle has a medical-marijuana card in Nevada.

The Chicago Bears' J'Marcus Webb was arrested for marijuana possession after a traffic stop for speeding on Feb 24. However, several days later, the pot charge was dismissed.
