Movie Review: 'Entourage'

The Buds Are Back: (From left) Adrien Grenier, Kevin Dillon, Jerry Ferrara and Kevin Connolly.

Known for their cannabis-friendly lifestyle, the guys in Entourage don't disappointment in the big-screen adaptation, in theaters now. In one scene they pass a joint and in another, Eric (Kevin Connolly)  gets dosed by Drama (Kevin Dillon).

"Molly, water and a touch of Viagra," he tells Turtle (Jerry Ferrara). Eric ends up taking full advantage of the concoction.

In an earlier scene at Vince's mansion, Turtle lights one up. Vince (Adrian Grenier) and Drama take hits. The joint never gets to Eric.

The movie is like a compressed season on HBO. Vince is directing a futuristic blockbuster. Ari (Jeremy Piven) has moved up the Hollywood food chain and is now a studio head. Eric and Sloan (Emmanuelle Chriqui) are having a baby. Turtle's rich, thanks to his tequila business. And Drama's still in little brother Vince's considerable shadow.

Fans of the original show will enjoy another chance to hang with their TV buds. Virtually everyone from the show, including Ari's former assistant Lloyd (Rex Lee) and his wife (Perrey Reeves), are in the cast. Plus, there's a parade of celebs making it quite the who's who and guessing game.

Like Sex in the City, Entourage was great TV and not a bad movie either.
