19. Keanu

Box office: $20.6 million

Known for their TV show, Key & Peele, the duo's move to the silver screen resulted in one of the year's most unusual comedies. During a nasty shootout at a drug factory, a kitty (Keanu) gets away and ends up on Rell's (Jordan Peele) doorstep. Keanu belongs to Blips (a combination of the Bloods and the Crips) leader Cheddar (Method Man), the man behind the factory where a designer drug was being made ("it's a cross between PCP, MDMA and PCP"). Rell and Clarence (Keegan-Michael Key) play thugs in order to get Keanu back. Rell's pot dealer Hulka (Will Forte) adds hilarity as a wigger when he describes several strains: "This is the perfect sativa-dominant hybrid strain. It's called Spoonie G. I got this anti-sadness stain. It's called Walking on Sunshine." However, Keanu is more into catnip.
