The Beach Bum
You’d think a film starring Matthew McConaughey and Snoop Dogg and directed by Harmony Korine would be a stoner-movie slam dunk. Unlike his slacker character in Surfer, Dude, McConaughey’s Moondog here is a complete bummer. The guy smokes more pot in movie history, even more than in a Cheech & Chong flick, but all the weed can’t help this awful film. The incorrigible Moondog, who’s stoned state causes a car crash that kills his wife Minne (Isla Fisher), totally disappoints, man. Snoop supports as his bud Lingerie. Prime, YouTube
