Plot: A hippie (Taylor-Young) turns Harold (Sellers) and his straight friends on to the wonders of weed, courtesy of infused brownies and a script by Paul Mazursky. Averback went on to direct The Great Bank Robbery and Suppose They Gave a War and Nobody Came.

 

23. Ted (2012)

Cast: Mark Wahlberg, Mila Kunis
Box office: $218.8 million
Plot: A pot-smoking teddy bear (voiced by MacFarlane) pals around with his best bud (Wahlberg). Ted 2 followed in 2015. MacFarlane also directed and starred in A Million Ways to Die in the West.

 

22. Caddyshack (1980)

Cast: Chevy Chase, Bill Murray, Rodney Dangerfield
Box office: $39.8 million
Plot: Shenanigans at a suburban golf course. Carl (Murray) gets Ty (Chase) high on some "Kentucky bluegrass." However, Alan Arkush's Caddyshack 2 (1988) fell way short of the original. Ramis, who wrotee Animal House, went on to direct National Lampoon's Vacation, Club Paradise, Groundhog Day and Year One.

Plot: A remake of Michael Schultz's Car Wash (1976), this smokin' version features Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre as roommates who hustle to pay the rent. DJ Pooh, who wrote Friday, went on tho direct Grow House.
