6. Black Sunday Live at Royal Albert Hall

The London Symphony Orchestra's collaboration with L.A. hip-hop group Cypress Hill stems from a gag on a Simpsons episode nearly 30 years ago. Last year, it actually took place at the hallowed Hall and the film, directed by James Barnes, is ample proof that it worked to perfection. The 20 songs, mostly from their 1993 hit album Black Sunday, which includes the Top 20 single "Insane in the Brain," feature B-Real, Sen Dog, Eric Bobo, DJ Lord and a sizzling 70-piece band with strings, horns and multiple drummers.
Conducted and arranged by Troy Miller, the orchestrations are stunning, as if channeling a Quincy Jones mix of pop, jazz and classical. In his CelebStoner review, Roy Trakin compares the collab to similar efforts by rock bands like Moody Blues and Metallica in the past.
