Trailer: 'The King of Staten Island' Starring Pete Davidson

Born and raised on Staten Island - one of New York City's five boroughs - Saturday Night Live cast member Pete Davidson is The King of Staten Island in Judd Apatow's new movie.

Co-written by Apatow (Knocked Up, The 40-Year-Old Virgin), Davidson and Dave Sirus, it's a fairly autobiographical story about Davidson's life in New York that took a big hit when his father, a firefighter, died during the 9/11 rescue effort.

Will Scott (Davidson) follow his dad and join the Bravest or stay home getting stoned? Davidson, who uses medical marijuana to treat Crohn's disease, often delivers pot jokes on SNL. In the trailer (see above), he asks a friend: "Why do you think I smoke weed all the time? So I can slow it down."

The film also stars Marisa Tomei, Steve Buscemi, Pamela Adlon, Bill Burr, Kevin Corrigan and Machine Gun Kelly. It will be available On Demand on June 12.
