Stephen Colbert's first-ever marijuana segment on The Late Show zeroed in on the effort in legalize pot in Ohio. "This is a big deal," he said. "This is very big deal. You expect the Mary Jane to be legal in Oregon or Washington or Colorado. But Ohio? Come on, that's America's heartland… But it looks like this thing could actually pass. According to a recent poll, Ohioans support legalization 52% to 44%%."
But mostly Colbert focused on ResponsibleOhio's marijuana mascot, Buddie: "It kind of looks like a giant brussel sprout. That would be a hard sell to college students. You'd have to smoke a whoooooole lot to catch a buzz."
