The four members of Phish - Trey Anastasio (at left), Page McConnell, Mike Gordon and Jon Fishman - have been hinting at a reunion all year. So it shouldn't come as a huge surprise that the guys performed at former road manager Brad Sands' wedding on Saturday night in New York. Due to tropical storm Hanna, the 2nd Annual New York Media Softball League playoffs have been rescheduled to Sept. 14. High Times (5-4) will play Wall St. Journal (6-4), and Business Week (8-0) will face Trader Monthly (5-4) in the semifinal round. Last year, the Bonghitters defeated Business Week in the championship game, 8-6. The games begin at 10:15 am, weather permitting.

A surprising entry from FX, Sons of Anarchy depicts a California biker gang with roots in the 1960s counterculture and a firm grip on 21st Century organized crime They fight for turf, run drugs and guns, smoke pot and have internal conflicts. The show's conscience, Jax (Charlie Hunnam), tries to steer the old guard towards more peaceful resolutions, but he has to prove himself first. It's Hell's Angels on Wheels meets The Sopranos.

Leighton Meester, who plays scheming high-school princess Blair Waldorf on Gossip Girl, was born in a halfway house in Texas in 1986. According to Star mag, Meester's mom, dad, grandfather and aunt were all arrested in 1982 on marijuana smuggling and distribution charges. Meester, who claims to have been born in Florida, not Texas, has never spoken about this.

Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, her 17-year-old pregnant daughter Bristol and Bristol's self-proclaimed "redneck" boyfriend Levi Johnston have been in the eye of a media storm since John McCain selected Palin as his running mate last week. Considering that Palin has admitted using marijuana, it's likely that Bristol and Levi have smoked pot in the one U.S. state where possession of less than an ounce is legal.
